A picture speaks... a thousand words!!!
Let us see some pictures... speak for themselves !!!
Thet are NOT extreme cases, but what we see in our workshop.
The purpose is to understand some daily technical issues easily occur and how easily
they will not happen to you!
Once you see all the pictures below, you will understand why the following picture might be the servicing list of your boat or your outboard engine.
* Choose a proper professional who will protect you !!!

Quiz time.
The last word is known to all. But ... what other hidden words with sense you see behind???

Boat's water seperating fuel filter.
Which one is yours?

Yes ... it's a gasoline tank!!!
All rust from the inside, carried by the gasoline to carburetor, with the known consequences.

The number one guard(the anodes) against the worst enemy of your engine(electrolysis).
There are those seen by eye(on the engine's lower unit and below the brackets), and those not visible (inside the engine block).

Anodes continued...

The impeller, essentially, is the pump that sends the seawater to the engine to cool.
Wear continiusly happens, whether it works or not,
because it is constantly trapped inside it's housing!!!
Did you know that?

The impeller needs care because it is constantly inside the salt water, in a sandy and salty evironment.

The impeller's plate. It looks clean and it will work perfectly. What is underneath it though?
This is the favorite place for sandy and salty remainings.

These are the parts of the water pump housing that are involved in order to provide the right amount of water to your outboard engine.

It is been a while since last servicing!!!
On the second picture you can see a sandy mold around the impeller casing!!!
* (Mr James... this is you!)

The propeller is the one which makes our ride more enjoyable and also more economical.
It deserves our care.

The propeller can "gather" various souvenirs from the ride.
There is no need for them to stay there, but it is probably better to be left in the workshop.

Propeller "souvenirs" that someone did not wish them to stay in the workshop, but ... in his pocket ...

This is what happens when the servicing is not the proper!

Thermostat housing filled with salt!
Looks like a mess? This is how the inside of the outboard engine motor looks like!!!

Thermostat at various stages of its life!
Which one is yours???

There must be no gap between the trailer winch roller and the boat during the transportation!!!

From far it looks fine. As we approach... the scenery is changing to bad.
When bend over, you see more! This is the trailer quality through time!

Are we getting there... or are they going to look for us???

What's inside there? Various components that ensure the motion and the early stopping!
Please note the brakes and the bearings of the trailer before maintenance and after.

Socket, winch and rollers of trailer. Who said that they did not need maintenance?

The new era of waterproof LED for the trailer.

Do not forget to check the inside of your tires as well.

Welcome to... electrolysis!

Carburettor. Makes gasoline from liquid into spray.
The responsible component on the third photo. A small part with tiny holes.
When they block by dirt, the engine stops working properly.

For how long have you been paying for this service?

Did you buy a cheap bargain outboard via internet?
Is it the same cheap bargain in the inside also???

The engine's outside... and guess the inside ...

An outboard screw. The salt penetrates and dries in the thread.
Whe we need to remove it, it is almost certain that the screw will cut !!!
That is why the proper professional is required to make the servicing of the engine!

There are many different products to protect your outboard engine!!!
Did you know?

Boat electricals.
Give them the necessary attention!

One of the most incredible cases of our workshop.
Inside the engine's top cowl... living snails!!!!!
Snail soup... anyone?

Economy of space and... fuel on sea.
Leave outside the boat that is not needed!

Power trim is always in the sea water!
Oxidation easily occurs without proper maintenance.

The fishfinder transducer. Before... and after...

A cheap and bad applied antifouling after a few days at sea.
Someone would be more careful next time!

Boat with... mold!
Before and after cleanning!

The ugly duckling who became a swan!!!
Before and after!!!

Better safe... than sorry.

Extra large guy...

To general overhaul...

Dirt in the carburettor.
Cleaning and adjusting is the next step.

Water in fuel. It reached the carburetor.
Mind the petrol station you buy gasoline!!!

Blocked carburetor.
That's why you need the winter service done by a professional.

Almost blocked fuel tank hose from deposits due cheap gasoline oil and poor gasoline quality.
Note the difference in the diameter of these same diameter hoses !!!

Eventually... the first photo explains you how all the above may not happen to you!
Just select the right professional!!!
